John taught a good summary of James. The Book of James is very practicle for the Christian. Jesus changes everything including how we live! 

Faith Builder Class James 5:13-20. We need to pray for each other and confess our sins to each other. The faith prayer of a righteous man / woman is successful. We had awesome prayer time after the lesson.

James 5:1-6 A warning to the rich!! Do not become arrogant, greedy, selfish! Treat people well and depend on God. Bless others with your wealth. 

James 4:13-17 Your plans might not be God's plans! Your life is lika a mist. Make it count for God! 

James 4:7-12 Humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil and he will flee. God alone is judge! He wants you true broken heart. Love others for Jesus. 

James 4 If we are friends of the world we are enemies of God. God is the Potter and we are the clay. Fights and quarrels among us are due to desires.  

James 3:13-18 Enjoy this great lesson. Pure wisdom comes from above. LaRonda for showed us from Scripture what a wise person looks like and what a wise person does. 🙂  

Excellent lesson on James 3:1-12. We must use our language to bless and encourage. James 3:9-10 - Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right! - A Christian should never praise God and then curse our fellow man! This is a conflict and the Christian is a hypocrite! Check out the lesson.

James 2:14-26 John led a great study about faith. Faith without works is dead useless. We are saved for good works. Serve Jesus! 

James 2:8 The Royal Law - Love the Lord and love others as yourself. How can we do this? Watch LaRonda's lesson. Christians need to be real and let God's love flow to change the world.

James 1:26-27 & 2:1-7 James tells us to put our faith in actions. Live your faith. God is not a respector of persons. We are all equal in Christ Jesus.

James 1:19-25 Faith Builders Class - James Be doers of the Word, not hears only.

James 1:16-18 So don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters. Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession. LaRonda did a great job explaining the genres of the book of James!! 

James 1:9-15 Temptation. God never temps us. We are tempted by our oun lust. 

James 1:1-8 Trials to Truimph! God usess trials in our lives to give us maturity. If you are experiencing trials and frustrations, stay faithful because God is working in you to make you more like Jesus Christ. 

James - A "pillar" of the Church. James was the elder at the Jerusalem Church.
